It happened quickly and rather unexpectedly. I hadn't planned for it, nor was I hoping for it. I wasn't even quite sure it was happening until the words left my mouth.
"I think I love you."
It might have been the dim lights bouncing off of your face or maybe the sound of the television buzzing softly. Maybe it was the drinks we had earlier or perhaps the warmth we had made in the spaces between us. Whatever it was, I have never felt this way for anyone. This is different from the others.
I think this is it.
